UK’s first range of naturally zero sugar energy waters
The UK energy drinks market is currently valued at over £1.3billion and forecast to grow above £1.6billion in the next three years. Entering this fast growing market is a drink that claims to be the first of its kind.
Virtue Energy Water naturally contains zero sugar, zero calories, with no sweeteners. Each drink contains the same amount of natural caffeine as a cup of coffee (80mg). This energy comes from natural sources including yerba maté – the South American tea leaf and natural antioxidant powerhouse, guarana and ginseng.
The drinks are made in the UK with sparkling water, natural fruit flavours and contain no artificial ingredients. They will be available in 250ml cans in two initial flavours, Lemon & Lime and Berries (RRP: £1.35).
Founder and Managing Director Rahi Daneshmand said:
“Virtue is not just targeting energy drink consumers. We are targeting consumers that have matured from energy drinks and still want energy but are looking for a better option.”
The brand will also be working in partnership with charity drop4drop to fund the creation of water wells in developing countries and donate 500L of clean drinking water for every can sold.
Virtue Energy Water will be launching exclusively in selected retailers this summer including Ocado, Amazon.co.uk, As Nature Intended and leading independents.
