Muesli by Mornflake has been repackaged to maintain freshness for every breakfast.
Mornflakes use high quality fruits, nuts & seeds from across the world to give a unique blend of flavours & textures. The British oatflakes are selected, cleaned, cooked & rolled in house to provide a light & crispy texture. The new foil resealable poucheskeep every bite as crispy as the first. The Mueslies contain wholegrain, are an excellent source of fibre and contain no added sugar or added salt.
Muesli by Mornflake is availble in four varieties
- Favourite Fruit and Nut – Oats and cereals blended with juicy Chilean flame raisins, dates, apricots, apple, coconut, mixed nuts and seeds.
- Notoriously Nutty – Oats and cereals blended with roasted hazelnuts, almonds, pecans and pistachio nuts with mixed seeds, apple and coconut.
- Deliciously Date, Fig and Apple – Oats and cereals blended with chopped dates & figs, raisins and fragrant apple. Also added is roasted nuts, seeds and toasted coconut chips.
- Fabulously Fruity – Oats and cereals blended with raisins, apricot, pineapple and cranberries.
Oats, which form the basis of muesli, are easy to absorbed, relatively high in calorie and carbohydrates, high in glycogen that fuels your muscles, as well as being rich in amino acid L-Glutamine, which can minimize breakdown of muscle and improve protein metabolism. Due to these benefits oats are a firm favourite pre-workout food across numerous sports disciplines, weight lifting and body building in particular.
The oats as well as seeds and fruits contained within Mornflake Extra Crisp Muesli are high in fibre, with some also having shown effective in lowering cholesterol and reduced risk of cancer, diabetes and other diseases – those of a cardiovascular nature in particular.
Across all varieties the taste is very premium with nuts and fruits of a higher quality. The only negative is that there isn’t a huge difference between the varieties.
In the looks department it isn’t too cutting edge but the balance of natural imagery clearly communicates what natural ingredient are on offer as well has having enough colour and pop so that it stands out on the shelf and differentiates the four different varieties.
