Partnership aligns like-minded women’s fitness brands
Mudderella, the company curating outdoor obstacle courses for women by women, announced today a national apparel sponsorship with Athleta, the premium fitness fashion brand for the woman who sees fitness as vital to her life, for its 2014 events. The partnership designates Athleta as the official apparel brand for Mudderella’s 2014 events across the U.S., and officially aligns the two like-minded brands with a focus on empowering women to “Own Your Strong.”

Through an integrated partnership, Athleta will sponsor Mudderella’s signature pre-event Stretch + Strengthen, where participants get warmed up and pumped up for the event, as well as a branded on-site activation. Athleta will support Mudderella’s seven nationwide events through in-store promotions, including pre-event packet pick-up at select locations. Customers are encouraged to keep an eye out for Mudderella / Athleta social co-promotions and additional opportunities to be shared in the coming months.

Encouraging women to “Own Your Strong,” Mudderella inspires participants to test strength, stamina, and willpower by completing a 5-7 mile long course featuring 12-15 obstacles focused on full-body fitness, balance and agility. Mudderella events encourage participants to take on a new challenge and get outside for a high-energy, daylong experience to be shared with like-minded, strong women. Teamwork is essential to completing the course; the events are about people coming together to overcome obstacles and have fun. Registration is now open for seven Mudderella events nationwide.
