Raising the bar
Kinetica Sports are launching their new Protein+ bar this month – a 20g high quality protein bar (which is also rich in fibre). Protein+ bar is available in tChoc Orange with a dark chocolate coating and Toffee with a milk chocolate coating.
In comparison to some protein bars on the market, which can be quite hard, dry, chalky, and chewy in texture, Protein+ bar delivers a superior eating quality and taste. In addition, Protein+ only contains dairy proteins and is gelatin free.
The relaunch comes at a time when protein is out-growing many grocery categories. According to IRI data, Brits are have bought an extra 320,000 kilos of sports powders (including whey protein) in grocery retail the past year – a spike of 19.5%. Volumes of sports bars, RTDs and supplements are up even more, led mainly by greater distribution.
