Olympian promotes walkies for all
Jessica Ennis-Hill is to extend her partnership with Prudential’s Vitality health insurance.
Jessica became a Ambassador in 2013 and will continue to use her passion for healthy living to encourage the nation to get active, while also sharing her experiences, offering practical advice and motivating everyone to take achievable steps towards lifelong wellness.
Vitality research shows that small improvements to activity levels can make a positive difference to people’s long-term health and through the extra nudge of incentives and rewards they can be encouraged to make healthy choices every day. The partnership with Jessica will see her inspiring people to make more positive changes through a full spectrum of activity ranging from encouraging people to walk with Big Walkies, a joint initiative between Vitality and the RSPCA, to motivating them to run a variety of distances with the Vitality Run Series. Vitality and Jessica will also be teaming up to create new events that aim to encourage people of all ages to get on the move. The events called Jessica Ennis-Hill presents Vitality MOVE, are due to take place in 2017.
Jessica Ennis-Hill said:
“I’m really excited about continuing my work with Vitality to spread the message about the benefits of health and wellness. Everything I feel I stand for is echoed in the values of Vitality and I’m really looking forward to working with them to explore and develop new and exciting ways to help encourage and motivate everyone, regardless of their current state of health and fitness, to take steps to a healthier and happier life. I hope together we can make people see that achieving their personal health goals is really a matter of planning the journey and sticking with it.”
