Top sellers in first month
Following 18 awards at CES, Fitbit has shipped more than one million Fitbit Blaze devices in its first month of availability, exceeding internal Fitbit sales forecasts. During this time, Fitbit Blaze has captured the ranking of #1 bestselling device in both the smart watch and heart monitor categories on Amazon.
Fitbit also announced that more than one million Fitbit Alta devices have shipped since U.S. retail availability began on March 9. Fitbit Alta is also currently one of the top selling devices in the fitness tracker and pedometer categories on Amazon.
Fitbit’s new fitness watch puts the emphasis on next generation health and fitness features first and foremost, such as PurePulse continuous, wrist-based heart rate tracking; SmartTrack automatic exercise recognition; automatic sleep tracking; and FitStar by Fitbit on-screen workouts. Fitbit Blaze also includes smart notifications like call, text and calendar alerts and a battery life of up to 5 days on a single charge.

Fitbit Alta also includes smart notifications you need, delivering call, text and calendar notifications when your phone is nearby with a gentle vibrating alert on its vibrant, slender display. Fitbit Alta lasts up to 5 days on a single charge and is compatible with more than 200 Android, iOS and Windows mobile devices and computers.
Fitbit Alta and Fitbit Alta accessory bands began shipping to retailers and consumers in North America on March 9 and are currently also available in Hong Kong, Singapore and South APAC.
