As a major processor of beetroot the company has been focusing on its Beet’4 Perf red beet concentrate. A key application for this ingredient is sports nutrition as the naturally occurring nitric oxide has a vasodilating effect, increasing the size of blood vesicles for improved oxygen consumption. Trials have show this to be beneficial in intense exercise and Diana Food see great potential in sport nutrition as athletes seek natural and drug free products.
